Is It Worth It!

by MarkleSparkle @ 2006-03-22 - 21:56:46

Found out today in work i've got to go to a 'workshop' day at one of our Preston offices next Tuesday for 2 hours. Got a dilemma whether to go in my car or get the train. I normally get into work about 10am but i've got to be at Preston for 9:30am! It's gonna be a bloody shock to my system, i've got to get up at about 7am. I know to some people thats not early but it's gonna bloody kill me! Anyway in order for me to claim expenses by using my car I need to be covered for business use on my insurance and because i'd never use my car for business use i'm not covered. I thought it's not going to cost me much to add business use onto my policy so decided to give my insurance company a ring to see how much it would cost........bloody £43.48!!! It's hardly worth it as my expenses wouldn't even cover it! Looks like i'll be getting the train then but the train to get me there on time gets into Preston at 8:28am which means i've got to hang around for an hour.LOL I'm not sure what this 'workshop' is going to be like but it's only 2 hours so hardly gonna kill me is it.LOL
